I just wanted to say that we just started your program and love it already. I keep the lessons file on my iPhone so they are always handy where ever we are. Thanks for an easy, but awesome resource to keep our kids healthy!

I want to thank you for making something that will work INDOORS!! We get the extremes of weather here...freezing cold and dangerously hot, so I've struggled with finding something that will work inside our small home when we can't get outside. having both the videos and written instructions has been absolutely wonderful!! If something seems confusing in written form, the video clears it right up for me! And I'm amazed that my children have not complained when I say it's time for P.E

Homeschool Physical Fitness Supplies List

Supplies for the FamilyTim Fitness.com - Fitness 4 Homeschool Physical Education programs can be purchased from a store or just items you have around the house. It is not necesary to buy brand new items or have one for everyone. This program was developed with the intent that it could be done without purchasing hundreds of dollars of accessories. If you don't have multiple balls or hoops, that is not a big deal. Everyone can simply take turns and give each other encouragement while they are completing the activity!

Bean Bags - An alternative to store bought bean bags could be tennis balls, any small ball, or even as simple as a pair of socks in a ball shape.

Jump Rope - An alternative to a store bought rope could be a project to use your own rope, then you can make handles out of duct tape or electrical tape.

Hula Hoops (s) - Unfortunately there is no real alternative for a hula hoop. These can generally be picked up at a store for around $10

Playground Balls - Alternatives for this can be a basketball, soccer ball, or volleyball

Cones - Alternative can be a box, a bucket, or even a rock

Measuring Tape - These can be bought for as little as $5

Stop Watch - You can use you watch, possibly your cell phone, or these can buy one at the store.

Exercise Mat- This is optional and each individual needs to assess the area they will be doing the activity in to determine the need for this item.

Stepping Blocks - When you are inside you can use a simple piece of paper or newspaper, outdoors you can use a piece of carget or a small piece of plywood.

Feel free to contact us if you need any additional ideas about alternative that can be used in our program.
